| COMMUNION INSTRUCTIONS |
COMMUNION WILL BE PREPARED AND CLEANED UP BY SERVING ELDERS
All preparation takes place in the sacristy.
Communion is by INTINCTION (dipping of the bread into the wine) for all services unless otherwise instructed. Grape juice and wine will be used.
The gray/blue plates, cups, and baskets used for communion are found in the bottom right hand cupboard in the sacristy (the room behind the Sanctuary). One plate, cup, and the pitcher may be found on the communion table in the Sanctuary. Communion napkins are found in a drawer marked “communion linens”. A white tablecloth should be placed on the communion table for the Sunday services. This tablecloth is hanging in the closet in the sacristy (room behind the sanctuary). All the bread, wine, and juice will be on the sacristy counter. There is a knife, a corkscrew, and a wine stopper in the drawer marked “utensils”. | |
