Memorial Day Parade

Members and friends of Ridgefield Crystal Lake Presbyterian Church marched in the Woodstock Memorial Day Parade with a float to honor the troops, passing out candy to the children and treats for the dogs. The float publicized the Dog Days of Summer Care Packages that they will send to the soldiers in the Woodstock National Guard in Afghanistan. People who lined the parade route donated money for postage and items for the care packages. Pictured above, left to right: Kneeling in front: Mary Moltmann. Children's Musical "Oh Jonah!"
to be Presented at RCLPC

Julia Mick, Director of the Children's Choirs of Ridgefield-Crystal Lake Presbyterian Church has announced that they will present Allen Pote’s musical, “Oh, Jonah!” on Sunday May 3 at the 9:30 and 11:00am worship services. This delightful children’s musical about the prophet Jonah uses music, drama, and dancing to offer a different twist on how Jonah manages to escape from the whale. More than just a story about Jonah and a whale, it is a tale involving responsibility, repentance, and listening for the word of God in our lives. The community is invited to attend, and the Church at 8505 Church St. (north of McHenry County College) is accessible to people with disabilities.
