Traditional services are held on Sundays at 8:00 and 11:15 am during the regular worship schedule.
The 11:15 traditional worship service features the adult choir. They are directed by Sherri Dees. Rehearsals are held each week on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00 pm. On Sunday mornings, they meet at 9:30 am to warm-up and practice for the 11:15 worship service.
The Alternative worship service is held from 9:15 to 10:15 am on Sunday mornings during the regular worship schedule and is directed by Sheila Mohler. The music for this worship service is coordinated by Ken Stewart, who also plays the guitar in the band.
Band members and vocalists are volunteers who rehearse two hours during the week, usually on Saturday mornings from 9:00 to 11:00 am, or occasionally on a Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
The songs played each week are selected by the Planning Team based on the scripture focus for the service.
TAIZE WORSHIP SERVICES
HELD AT RCLPC first Thursdays of each month
 | This service features meditative singing, a scripture reading, prayer and silence with lit candles adorning the sanctuary. Attendees are asked to take a song book at the back of the sanctuary and enter in silence. The mood of the service is peaceful, with silent meditation at the heart of worship. Our charming and historic sanctuary provides the perfect setting for this transforming new style of worship. Please join us. The church is accessible to people with disabilities, and childcare will be provided in the nursery. |
